MANILA, Philippines – A joint art exhibit of two accomplished Filipina painters was recently launched at the Philippine Embassy in London.

The exhibit “Sulyap” launched last April 16, featured over 50 works of Nene Martin and Susan Robertson, both long-time residents of the United Kingdom.

Their paintings were in a variety of media and highlighted Filipino and British scenes, and still-life studies of everyday objects.

Martin, a long-time hospital administrator, and Robertson, an artist entrepreneur, described their exhibit as a “a glimpse into a joyful journey towards self-discovery.”
Philippine Ambassador to the UK Enrique Manalo and Madame Pamela Manalo were on hand to formally open the exhibition.
The exhibit is open to the public and will be on display until April 27.
