REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – A new bakeshop chain with a Pinoy twist recently opened in California.

Leelin Bakery & Cafe recently celebrated the grand opening of its flagship store in Cerritos.

Community members and elected officials joined the festivities.

Asian-style bakeshops have become a hit throughout Southern California and the new chain hopes to expose more non-Filipino customers to Philippine cuisine.

Some of the delicacies will include twists on Pinoy classics like a longanisa slider.
