Filipino boxing fans cheer for Pacquiao in Vegas
LAS VEGAS - Boxing fight fans trooped to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the official weigh-in of boxers Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley.
"Manny is trying to come back. He will make a comeback," said Danny Olivares from Austin, Texas.
Fight fans from all over North America drove from afar just to watch Pacquiao fight again.
"I'm a Pacquiao fan. I enjoy watching his fight. I like the way how he is community-orientated. He really gives back to his people over there," said a fan from Vancouver.
Some fight fans even came in Pacman costume.
"I'm here to see Pacman win again. It's my 6th fight. We actually followed him to China to Houston, now we are here to see [him] beat up Bradley. Go, Pacman!" said Hanna Garcia.
Philippine flags were all over the arena with fans cheering for the fighting congressman.
From boxing gloves, to key chains and t-shirts, souvenir items of the Pac-Brad2 were also all over.
The most talked about rematch of the year will take place tomorrow. Fight fans from all over the world are excited to see the Pacman back in the ring.
