Fil-Am accused of molestation forged principal's signature
REDWOOD CITY, California - New developments in the case of the Filipino-American teacher from the Bay Area who was arrested for sexually abusing his students emerged.
Local Bay Area media obtained a permission slip that Ron Guinto, 33, reportedly sent to students’ parents in order to get consent for a field trip to Yosemite planned in April.
A member of the West Contra Costa school board claims that Guinto forged his principal’s signature on the form.
Guinto was arrested while teaching at Mira Vista Elementary School in Richmond in early March amid complaints that he molested his young male students at a previous teaching job.
He is facing 28 felony charges.
