Pinoy in Ohio shooting rampage pleads not guilty
REDWOOD CITY, California – The undocumented Filipino arrested earlier this month for allegedly killing three men in a shooting rampage recently pleaded not guilty in court.
Igmidio Mista, 33, was indicted on six counts including three counts of murder with firearm specifications, one count of attempted murder, one count of felonious assault, and one count of possessing a firearm in a liquor permit premises.
He entered his not guilty plea at the Sandusky County Court.
The shooting happened on March 9 at the Last Call Bar in Fremont, Ohio after Mista got into an argument with a woman.
One of the men killed was an off-duty police officer who was celebrating his birthday.
If convicted, Mista could face up to 75 years to life in prison.
