2 Pinoys die in vehicular accident in Jeddah
JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA – Two Filipinos died when a sports car crashed into their vehicle in Jeddah.
The accident also injured another Pinoy and a child passenger.
However, the names of the victims were not immediately known.
The two fatalities—a woman and a man—died at the Fahd General Hospital and Saudi German Hospital, respectively.
The other Filipino and the 4-year-old child were also rushed to the Fahd General Hospital. The child sustained minor injuries from the accident.
The group was traveling near the Sawary Gasoline Station in Obhur and was making a turn at the service road when a Porsche hit their vehicle.
They were supposed to attend a photography event as a show of support for the “Bawal Mag Shoot Dito” campaign in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Consul Leo Tito Ausan Jr. immediately dispatched a team to extend all possible assistance to the victims. Report from Franklin Resma, ABS-CBN Middle East News Bureau correspondent
