Tropical depression Maring crossed Luzon on Tuesday, bringing heavy rains that caused massive floods in various cities, towns, and provinces.

Torrential rains also caused landslides in upland villages and flashfloods in low-lying communities near rivers.  Based on initial reports, the tropical cyclone left at at least 4  people dead and 6 others missing.
