MANILA -- A 17-year-old woman, who was caught on camera jumping out of a car naked, narrates her ordeal with the stranger who asked her for directions.

The woman, identified only as Rose, works as a dishwasher in an eatery in Makati.

According to her aunt, "Melya," Rose is a diligent and kind daughter who works hard to help support her family in the province.

"Mabait naman ang mga batang 'yun eh, napakasipag pa. Maaga siya gumigising, alas kwatro, kasi inihahatid niya 'yung kapatid niyang babae [na] nag-aaral. Idinadaan niya muna sa school, bago pumasok," she said in an interview with ABS-CBN's Bistado.

She learned about what happened to her niece only after her neighbors told her about it.

"Nabalita nga dito sa barangay na na-rape daw 'yung pamangkin ko," she added.

Melya also said Rose was obviously traumatized by the incident.

"Hindi mo maka-usap 'yung bata, umiiyak siya. Nagtayuan nga 'yung mga balahibo ko eh. 'Yung buhok niya, gulo-gulo eh. Umiiyak siya. Iyak siya ng iyak, yumakap siya sa akin," Melya said.

Claire Gumayon, secretary of Barangay Plainview in Mandaluyong City, was among the first people who helped Rose after she jumped off the car.

Just like Melya, Gumayon said Rose was crying hard, and was having a hard time answering their questions.

Once she calmed down, Rose was able to give her statement on what happened to her.

According to Rose, she was walking on the street when a gray car stopped beside her. The driver then asked her for directions.

The driver then grabbed her and forced her inside the car. He also punched her several times, causing her to lose her strength. He then started undressing her.

When she saw an opportunity, Rose immediately jumped off the car.

This scene was caught on the CCTV camera placed in front of the barangay hall of Barangay Plainview.

Rose was also able to give the plate number of the car, as well as its model and color.

Based on initial investigation, the car is registered to a man with a Chinese name, who is a resident of Quezon City.

However, the man claimed that he already sold the car to another man also with a Chinese name. He showed a deed of sale to prove his statement.

Authorities are still working on the case. They also advised the public to be wary of helping strangers to prevent similar cases.
