MANILA - Victoria Cambe, mother of lawyer Richard Cambe, let ABS-CBN News inside her house in Zambales, saying this will prove her son did not gain anything from the pork barrel scam.

According to the National Bureau of Investigation, Cambe is a staff member of Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr. who was allegedly a conduit in diverting the senator's pork barrel to bogus foundations of Janet Lim-Napoles.

"Wala naman siyang kasalanan! Masakit ang loob ko. Pati pangarap ko para sa anak ko nasira na," an emotional Mrs. Cambe said.

The older Cambe does not know if her son is willing to become a state witness like Ruby Tuason. But in their conversation, she said the lawyer told her that the documents presented by the whistleblowers were fake -- similar to what Revilla said in the Senate.

"'Dinadamay lang nila ako. Pati 'yung pirma ko, pineke pa nila,' sabi niya sa akin," Mrs. Cambe said.

She added that she does not regret her son's association with the Revillas. Cambe has been working for them for more than 20 years, and started with the office of Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr.

"Magtatagal ba ang tao sa isang trabaho kung hindi mabait ang amo, kung 'yung amo ay sutil? Siyempre, 'yung nagta-trabaho, aaalis."

The family also clarified that Richard did not go into hiding abroad unlike the other Senate staff members who were implicated in the multi-billion peso scandal.
