I have a strong opinion that Noynoy should be the next president of the Philippines because he will represent a true change in our corrupt country where politicians are elected bercause of one thing money and power.

 

We don't need an intelligent person we have seen that in the past marcos and macapagal. We also don't need a high graduate or a college drop-out. Electing officials should be not only elected because they are popular but based on their past whether are honest and brave enough to confront officials who are corrupt and willing to prosecute them.

 

The other problems we have is there are so many political parties running for the presidency as a results a winner won't gather 50% of the votes which I feel consider the majority.

 

Lastly I would like to blame the voters themselves who sell there votes during the election as they allow themselves to be exploited by this corrupt politicians running for the president. We should educate the poor and the uneducated that their votes is for there own future and that allowing themselves to be bought will perpetuate the corruption of the elected officials.

 

They have to get back the money they have spent and even more .Officials who have been accussed of corruption should be brought into trial once their term ends and we should send an example or even message to other officials that if you do not do your job right you will pay.

 

The problem in the Phillippines is that officials are more powerful and has a lot of money in ther words richer than the goverment itself compared to america the goverment is many times richer than any politicians .
