Do you think Binay can do my Pinewood Studios idea? Total indoor studio filming for movies and TV shows like in England, an island with the weather problems as well probably.
Southern California brags it never rains so Hollywood lots and outdoor filming flourishes with water shortages and dry vegetations for forest infernos and residential fires.
With the Metro Manila flooding copying Pinewood Studio might get more support now instead of copying California. The indoor studio works like a mall from my understanding, filmmakers and TV shows rent the studios to film using the indoor location, indoor technology to create the scenes, the workers to build temporary sets, and the computer software and technicians just bring the writers, producers, directors, and movie stars.
I do not have the money to go tour the indoor studios in England just Internet info, but many of the movies I enjoy watching like James Bond were supposedly all filmed indoors. Jobs without industrialization. I like retail, but there is a limit. And a Pinoy Wall Street might not sell in Gubat, but our theater majors making their own movies of the Bicol Region would support that indoor studio rent for a couple of months of filming.
Science fiction and romance and TV shows for local programming someday.
