Dear Sir and maam,
I think this kind of scam should be stopped, I dont know but I think many are already became victims.Yesterday I received a text message like this : CONGRATULATION! UR CELL# HAD WON AS 3RD PRIZE WINNER WORTH OF ( P800,000.00) + N70 CELLPHONE! VIA ELICTRONIC RAFFLE DRAW DURING 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF PHILIPPINES CHARITY FOUNDATION DTI-NCR PERMIT # 5158/ SEND UR NAME,AGED & ADDRESS! TO CLAIM UR PRIZE! CALL NOW! THIS IS ATTY. ENRICO T.LOPEZ! SEC.REG. #-1986317542. using this globe # +63907258154.
I try to call this guy to ask if it is true or not. He said to me I’m the lucky person to receive this big prize and he asked me to process my requirment urgenly and he instructed to send my name, age, address via SMS to that same #. And he asked me that I can claim my price either bank to bank, Western or personal claim.  I chose Western because I’m here in Australia and I don’t want to give my bank account to other people.
The most important requirment was 15 pcs. smart buddy prepaid call card which is 300 pesos each. He said to me I need to send the pin # and call card # or the serial # without using them because according to him, they will input the numbers in the computer. At the back of my mind there is a doubt whether this is true or not so I searched in the Internet regarding the Philippine charity foundation and I found out it is only a text scam.
Thanks to that site but I am concerned with other Filipinos who became a victims of this scam.
