Officers and members of Fil-Am Fil-Can Alliance, a foreign based apolitical group and the conduit of a large number of land and sea-based Filipino workers worldwide are bringing to your attention today an alleged breached of immigration law committed by Her Exellency the outgoing Philippine President Gloria M. Arroyo in issuing an appointment to Mr. Gary Olivar as a Deputy Presidential Spokesman in the Office of the President, Malacanang Palace without first renouncing his American citizenship.
I would like to entertain the thought that Mrs. Gloria M. Arroyo might have been ill advised earlier in signing or approving the appointment of American citizen Mr. Gary Olivar as one of her Deputy Presidential Spokesmen but she (PGMA) did not recall or revoke the questionable appointment even when series of newspaper reports including the editorial column of columnist Neal Cruz, Lito Banayo and others came into print in many Philippine broadsheets.
The suspicion of quiet a big number of Filipinos up here in the western front that Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's penchant to play "GOD" and untouchable is immensely manifested in so many ways.
