So, Noynoy continues to smoke. Noticed how people in stressful jobs like nurses, doctors, police personnel, teachers, priests, politicians, etc, smoke a lot? In the western world, graphic warning images are already printed on ciggie packs.

I'm not sure though, if the people targeted by such images actually look at them.
With the rush to become more and more productive, people smoke to cope with life's demand. For some, smoking is their drug of choice, it calms them down, make them functional so they can continue to work day in and out.

For us who do not take the high moral ground, we ask only that smokers show considerations to non-smokers, dispose of their ciggie butts responsibly, not throw them where they can start fire, or pollute our environment, not smoke in rooms or cars where non-smokers and children are around.

They inhale 2nd hand smoke and become passive smokers, and then, they get the same diseases as emphysema, lung cancers, etc, that smokers have.
I'd rather let a person smoke responsibly and soldier on through life and hardships, than to see that person give up, not face problems, commit suicide and leave their families behind deprive of support and love.

In the end, we all have to die, some of gunshot wounds and murders, others of car accidents and airplane crashes.

Let us not be harsh on people who smoke, they're just trying to cope with life.
