MANILA, Philippines – Singer-actress Angeline Quinto said one of the best things that happened to her in 2012 was when she met her biological mom, Susan, last August.

In an interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, Quinto admitted that she almost gave up looking for her mom because many people were telling her then that she might already be gone.
Quinto, who was adopted by her father’s aunt, said one of her first questions to her Nanay Susan was why she gave her up.
“Ang talagang dahilan daw po kaya niya ako binigay kay Mama Bob (her adoptive mom), kasi alam niyang galit sa kanya 'yung pamilya ng papa ko so hindi sila magkasundo. Alam niya na magiging mas mabuti ang buhay ko kung ibibigay niya ako kay Mama Bob,” she said.
The singer-actress also denied rumors that her biological mom sold her for P10,000 then.
While she is glad to be with her two mothers, Quinto said she would be happier if her dad and mom will be able to talk things out.
Meanwhile, Quinto shared that she is looking forward to doing more projects in 2013.
The singer-actress is set to star in an upcoming ABS-CBN series with two Kapamilya heartthrobs. In "Kahit Konting Pagtingin," Quinto will be paired with Sam Milby and Paulo Avelino.
Quinto said she is also excited to live in her new house which will be finished this coming year.
The 23-year-old singer is also hoping to have a boyfriend next year.
