Many would agree that marriage is a big step and should be taken seriously. Derek Ramsay certainly does, fans found out as he opened up about the topic in an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" Wednesday.
"I have the best and perfect marriage to follow," he said when asked about whether he believes in marriage.
"My parents have been married for over 40 years . . . I just want to be prepared so that my marriage will last like my parents," he explained.
He added that he and his girlfriend, model Joanne Villablanca, have talked about settling down a number of times: "She's definitely the type that wants to get married . . . And I think the whole part of her moving in is steps towards that direction."
It was earlier this month when he revealed that Villablanca, whom he has been with for more than three years, has moved into his home.
Ramsay was on the late-night talk show to promote his entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival, "All of You." His role in the Dan Villegas-directed flick earned him the festival's best actor award.
