MANILA - Actress-host Kris Aquino hinted that her brother President Benigno Aquino III will only get to watch one movie for this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
"In all honesty kasi Noy asked me. Sabi niya, 'Which one will I watch because I think I can only watch one.' Sabi ko, 'Noy, I own 30% of 'Feng Shui.' Maiintindihan na ni Bimby na ako na ang papanoorin mo,'" Kris told co-host Boy Abunda.
Kris's son James "Bimby" Yap Jr. is part of the comedy film "The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin" with Vice Ganda.
Kris said the President will watch her movie in 4D.
Meanwhile, Kris is overjoyed that "Feng Shui" was graded A by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
"Ay naku hindi mo talaga alam, nung nakita ko 'yung text talagang naghihiyaw ako in my room by myself screaming, ganoon talaga. Sabi ko I am now a producer of a quality film," Kris said.
"Siyempre nagtanong pa ako, ano ba ang ibig sabihin nito monetarily at in-explain mo sa akin. Kumbaga in all highly urbanize cities and component cities, you get back roughly 10% kunwari for every P100 na ibabayad may P10 na iyong iyo na hindi na kailangang ibayad sa buwis, diretso sa producer," Kris explained.
"Siyempre namumuhunan ka eh so malaking bagay 'yon, so medyo kinakabahan ka and all," she added.
Directed by Chito S. Roño, the film also stars award-winning actor Coco Martin.
