MANILA, Philippines - Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Tugonon said that she is not closing her doors on show business.

In a phone interview on the ABS-CBN morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" on Friday, Tugonon said her boyfriend, Jaypee Santos, is against the idea but she is willing to give showbiz a try.
Despite this, Tugonon stressed that she will still consider her boyfriend's opinion.
Her predecessors, Shamcey Supsup and Venus Raj, have taken on a number of hosting projects on ABS-CBN.
Raj, in particular, is currently one of the hosts of "Umagang Kay Ganda", where she met her current boyfriend Andrei Felix.
On settling down
In the interview, Tugonon also shared her thoughts about settling down with Santos.
Pero sa ngayon ay masyado pang maaga for that," she explained.
"Parang marami pang kailangang asikasuhin. So ngayon, siguro ay enjoy muna namin."
