MANILA – Although she revealed that her next movie with Enrique Gil will be slightly more sensual, Liza Soberano admitted they do won’t have any kissing scenes in the movie.
“As much as possible he (Ogie Diaz, her manager) doesn’t want because we want to preserve the youth in me and take long as we can to extend it,” she told entertainment site Push.
According to Soberano, she had to seek help in doing their “slightly sensual” scenes because she does not know how to be sexy or create sexual tension.
“So I was asking if it was right or wrong. Quen also taught me. Siyempre si Quen mas experienced in life more than I do so he was guiding me and so as Direk Cathy (Garcia-Molina) as well,” she shared.
Soberano said she does not mind that their movie's opening was moved to January instead of releasing it in cinemas before the year ends.
“I’m actually really happy that it was moved because at least we have more time to really work on it instead of just rushing it,” she said.
“It’s a good thing for our supporters because as I was told, they need more time to make ipon. So they can afford the tickets. So I’m really happy that they’ll be given that chance,” she added.
Now that it will be shown in January, Soberano said she is grateful that their film “My Ex and Whys” will be one of the first movies to be released in 2017.
“Parang fresh start for a new year. We’ll be able to promote it properly and everything. It will be better,” she said.
