'MMK' shines at 8th Golden Screen TV Awards

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN show "Maalaala Mo Kaya" (MMK) won the Lifetime Achievement Award for Drama at the Entertainment Press Society's 8th Golden Screen TV Awards held Tuesday night in Greenhills, San Juan.

The country's longest-running drama anthology also received the Outstanding Single Drama/Telemovie Program award for its "Silbato" episode.

Coco Martin won a trophy for his performance in the said episode.

Helen Gamboa, meanwhile, bagged an award for her performance in MMK's "Parol" episode.
