MANILA, Philippines - Broadcast journalist Anthony Taberna said that one of his ultimate dreams is to have a one-on-one interview with United States President Barack Obama.

In an interview during the first anniversary of his primetime newscast on Studio 23, "Iba-Balita ni Anthony Taberna," Taberna explained why he wants to interview the US President.

'Yung kanyang tagumpay at saka kabiguan niya ay gusto kong malasap," he said.

So gusto ko po siyang ma-interview at baka meron akong matutunan," he added.

So what would be his first question for Obama?

Taberna won the Best Male Newscaster award at the recently concluded 25th PMPC Star Awards for Television for "Iba-Balita ni Anthony Taberna," just in time for the show's first anniversary on air.

The show airs weeknights on Studio 23.

Aside from "Iba-Balita," Taberna's is also one of the anchors of "Dos Por Dos" on radio dzMM.

He is also part of morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda," investigative program "XXX" and public service program "Ako ang Simula," which are all on ABS-CBN channel 2.
