MANILA -- Actress Kim Chiu became emotional as she recalled how actor Xian Lim made her feel special when her mother died.
Appearing on "KrisTV" on Tuesday, Chiu said she never expected Lim to be there to comfort her while she was grieving over the death of her mother.
The actress' mother, Louella Yap-Chiu, passed away last June 23 due to aneurysm at the age of 50 in Cebu.
"Ano ba 'yon? bakit ba ako naiiyak?" Chiu said as she tried to fight her tears as she recalled the wake of her mother.
For his part, Lim said he just felt that Chiu needed him to be there at the time.
"I know she needed someone, so maski hindi ako ang kailangan niya, I will just be there," Lim explained.
Chiu and Lim are now shooting for their newest movie project.
