MANILA, Philippines – Television host Randy Santiago said that one of his birthday wishes this year is to make amends with his old buddy Willie Revillame.

During his special birthday celebration on “Happy Yipee Yehey” on Saturday, Santiago revealed that he hopes to rekindle his friendship with Revillame after their falling out a few months back.

“Actually, one of my wishes is makasama natin [si Willie] magkabati-bati tayo,” Santiago said.

Santiago said he is hoping that issues between him, Revillame and their friend John Estrada are cleared before the year ends.

“Sa darating na Pasko, siyempre [sana] wala nang alitan sa mundo. Lahat ng magkakaibigan, ‘yung mga kaibigan din nating lahat, [sana] magbuklod-buklod, magsama-sama tayo para sa napakasayang Pasko,” the birthday celebrant said.

Earlier this year, it was reported that the former host of the defunct show "Wowowee" lashed out at Santiago and Estrada for accepting the offer to host the noontime show “Happy, Yipee, Yehey.”

Revillame, Santiago and Estrada used to host the defunct “Magandang Tanghali Bayan (MTB)” on ABS-CBN.

The 3 hosts stirred controversy during their stint at the noontime show after they were suspended for cracking lewd jokes on air.
