MANILA, Philippines -- After the phenomenal series ABS-CBN "Walang Hanggan," Kapamilya actor Paulo Avelino is reunited with his former colleagues from a rival network in the "Shake, Rattle & Roll XIV" episode "The Lost Command" for director Chito S. Roño.

In the film, Avelino wil be working with GMA-7's Dennis Trillo and JC Tiuseco.

"Masaya. Ang iingay lang namin sa set at kwentuhan, parang nabalik ang alaala dati," Avelino said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

The latest in the successful horror movie franchise from Regal FIlms is an entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.

"Ang aabangan niyo dito ay sundalo kami at first time kong mag-portray ng ganito. Maghanda na kayong matakot," Avelino said.

"Story siya ng isang squad ng scout rangers na may tinutugis na isang grupo at nagulat sila na pagdating sa kuta ng mga grupo ay patay na lahat at hinahanap namin kung sino ang may gawa noon, ang tumugis sa grupong yon bago pa kami dumating," he added.

Dream role

In the interview, Avelino, who drew raves for his portrayal as the antagonist Nathan in "Walang Hanggan," admitted that he still a lot of dream roles that he wants to play.

"Gusto kong gumanap na isang serial killer. Ang dami-dami, 'yung matinding romcom at comedy," he said.

He is actually set to do a romantic comedy "The Bride and The Lover," as well as an indie film for next year's Cinemalaya film festival.

Currently, he is also promoting his self-titled debut album.
