MANILA, Philippines – Actress Andi Eigenmann again came to the defense of her mom, veteran actress Jaclyn Jose.

In her official Twitter account on Wednesday, Eigenmann admitted that she already went against her own mother -- only to be proven in the end that Jose was right.

“So much for going against my own mother and sacrificing our relationship just to give u what u want. Fyi everything my mom said was true anyway,” she posted on Twitter at 1:33 p.m.

This was then followed by another post from Eigenmann saying: “I hate boysssssssss.”

While she did not tag anyone in her recent tweets, the posts came almost right after published a story on her ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito's exclusive interview with the entertainment website Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) about his past relationship with the actress.

Ejercito told PEP that that it was he who had a change of heart, confirming that he sent a message to Eigenmann saying: "I don’t feel the same anymore.”

Ejercito clarified that even before Jose gave her comments, his relationship with Eigenmann was already on the rocks. However, he admitted that he was hurt with the statements of Jose, who even dragged the names of his parents, former President Joseph Estrada and former actress Laarni Enriquez.

Ejercito said his parents never told him to stay away from Eigenmann even if she already has a child out of wedlock.

He also revealed that there was a point when he and actor Albie Casiño were both in a relationship with Eigenmann.

While he said that he is not closing his doors on the possibility of reconciliation with the actress, Ejercito stressed that for now, he has decided to concentrate on his studies first.

In her previous interview with “The Buzz,” Eigenmann said she was really caught off guard when her mom talked about how Ejercito’s parents seem to not approve of her for their son.

She, however, stressed that she understands why Jose did that. For Eigenmann, it was just unfortunate that people interpreted her mom's words the wrong way.

Eigenmann also admitted in the same interview that she and Ejercito have broken up.
