MANILA, Philippines – It seems that Filipino-Japanese actress Iwa Moto is becoming closer to the family of Pampi Lacson, the estranged husband of Kapamilya star Jodi Sta. Maria.
Since they became a couple six months ago, Moto has been visiting Lacson’s family home regularly, cooking meals for his dad, Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, and helping Thirdy with school work.
Thirdy, Lacson’s son with Sta. Maria, even calls Moto his “mommy.”
“Ako kasi ‘yung tumatayong mommy niya ngayon kapag nasa Daddy niya. Kasi separate ‘yung custody eh,” Moto said of Thirdy. “Every time na andun siya sa Dad niya, inaalagaan ko siya, andoon ako for him. Siguro kaya niya ako tinatawag na mommy kasi nakikita niya na I’m taking care of him.”
The sexy actress said of her boyfriend’s parents: “Mabait si Daddy (Senator Lacson), sobra. Ang lambing niya, [sasabihin niya] ipagluto mo naman ako. Sobrang simple niya. Nagulat nga ako eh. Paborito niya sinampalukang manok, sinigang. Mahilig siya sa maasim.
“’Yung mom niya, Diyos ko, araw-araw ko na silang nakikita,” she added.
Moto, who lives in Las Piñas, shared that she occasionally sleeps in the Lacson residence in Alabang to take care of Thirdy.
Next month, she will be spending the holidays with the Lacson family in Hong Kong.
“Kasi minsan gabi na ako umuwwi ‘pag dadalaw ako sa bata,” Moto quickly explained, dispelling speculations that she and Lacson are already living together. “Usapan namin ni Pampi, ‘pag andiyan ‘yung bata, magslee-sleepover ako. We want to spend as much time with the kid.”
Asked if they plan to get married soon, she said in jest: “Malay niyo next year? Chos.”
She then meaningfully said: “Basta pinangako sa akin ni Pampi na hindi niya ako iiwan sa ere at magiging masaya ako.”
Moto is currently part of the movie “Aberya,” which is an entry to this year’s Cinema One Originals film festival.
