MANILA - Kris Aquino is busy preparing for her interview with President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday, which will mark her return to television after bidding farewell to viewers of morning talk show "Kris TV" more than seven months ago.
"Working hard for our new media venture," the television host teased on her Instagram account on Thursday, adding: "But for now they are all helping me prepare for my hosting of the Go Negosyo President Duterte Town Hall tomorrow in Davao."
She did not go into details, but it was earlier revealed that Aquino will sit down with Duterte, the successor of her brother, former President Benigno Aquino III, for a one-on-one interview that will air on TV5 and PTV4.
Aquino left television back in March after deciding that she needed to take a break from showbiz because of health problems. It was followed by her announcement that she will be leaving the Kapamilya network after 20 years.
At that time, Aquino said she was set to do a project with APT Entertainment, Inc., which is closely associated with rival GMA-7. APT stands for Antonio P. Tuviera, and is a subsidiary of TAPE Inc., the producer of "Eat Bulaga," among other shows.
