In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal, Padilla said he appreciates how ABS-CBN makes an effort to make its shows a part of the lives of overseas Filipino workers.

Thus, Padilla resolved that he will be sticking around with ABS-CBN.

"Siguro, hangga’t TFC ang number one sa abroad, at 'yung mga OFW natin eh 'yun lang ang kaligayahan nila eh dito ako sa ABS,” he said.

Just recently, the Catholic Mass Media Award of the Philippines honored Padilla’s show “Toda Max” as Best Comedy Program. The ABS-CBN sitcom is among the Kapamilya shows being shown on TFC.

Padilla made his Kapamilya comeback when he took over the noontime show “Wowowee” back in 2010. After that, he made the television series “Guns and Roses” with actress Bea Alonzo

He is set to star in another Kapamilya primetime series, "Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw" with Anne Curtis and Kris Aquino.
