MANILA - Are you wondering why singer Jimmy Bondoc became a trending topic on micro-blogging site Twitter on Friday?

Bondoc has been a guest judge on ABS-CBN's "It's Showtime" since Monday for its Pinasikat segment, along with cosplayer Myrtle Sarrosa. "Hurados" on the noontime program are traditionally made to share their talent before commenting.

In earlier episodes, Bondoc drew laughs for acting sad over being unable to do his "sample" due to time constraints. Already, he became a top trend on Twitter because of his reaction.

On Friday, "It's Showtime" co-hosts Vhong Navarro and Billy Crawford again teased Bondoc that his performance could no longer be accommodated, despite him readying his guitar for a sample.

Bondoc once again feigned being disappointed, to the amusement of the audience.

The singer eventually got to perform, but first cracked a joke mixing up the lyrics of Barry Manilow's "Somewhere Down the Road" and the MAGIC! hit "Rude."

Shortly after his performance and banter with the co-hosts, Bondoc's full name zoomed up as a top trending on Twitter locally -- the second time after a similar scene on "It's Showtime" earlier this week.

On Instagram, Bondoc said, unedited: "I hope no one finds this shallow or boastful! I'm just so kilig (yes, kilig) for trending on twitter yday (Wednesday). It's my very 1st (and baka last haha) time. Good vibes todo, grabe. Love to all"
