Actress-comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas admits that she feels pressured doing her upcoming movie "Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat (ATINL)."
"Ganoon pala yon. Pressurized. Para kang nasa pressure cooker," delas Alas said in an interview during the cast pictorial for the said film.
In the movie, delas Alas plays mother not only to her 12 children but to the whole country since she will be declared as the next president of the Philippines.
"'Yung mga bata nagsilakihan na, iba na ang problema namin. At isang major change, ako na ang presidente ng Republika ng Pilipinas," delas Alas said.
In a previous interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, 'Direk' Wenn Deremas, the film's director confirms that indeed Ai-Ai will be the next president of the country.
"Dito sa ATINL ay tatakbong presidente ng Pilipinas at magiging presidente ng Pilipinas si Ai-Ai, kaya nga 'Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat,' Kung paano nangyari 'yon ay yun ang dapat abangan," Deramas said.
Deramas confirmed that he also wrote the story of the film. He said he hopes that his idea and efforts will pay off.
ATINL is the sequel of Deramas's comedy film "Ang Tanging Ina (ATI)" and the third of his "Ina" collection after "Ang Cute ng Ina Mo" with actress Anne Curtis. It is also the official entry of ABS-CBN's movie outfit Star Cinema to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
In 2003, ATI became the highest grossing film in the country until it was surpassed by actress Kris Aquino's horror flick "Sukob," also produced by ABS-CBN's Star Cinema.
