MANILA, Philippines - Actress-socialite Gretchen Barretto won't comment on the alleged separation of her sister, Claudine, from husband Raymart Santiago.

In an interview after her shoot for the ABS-CBN Christmas station ID, Gretchen said the only thing she can do is pray for her sister.

“Right now, I’d rather not comment pagdating sa pamilya. All I can really say is ipagdadasal ko siya ng ilang rosaryo and I think that’s all I can really do. Ayoko na siyang palakihin," she said.

Barretto said that as an older sister, she will be there to support Claudine, who is going through a trying time now.

“As a sister, I feel for her. As a sister, siyempre may pinagdadaanan din ako. As a family, may pinagdadaanan din kami so ayokong mag-comment tungkol don. All I know is kakapit kami sa Diyos," said Barretto, who's gearing for her upcoming series "Alta."

On Thursday, Philippine Star columnist Ricky Lo said Barretto and Santiago have already been living separately for two months. The 2 have been married for 5 years.
