MANILA, Philippines -- Addressing reports of her supposed "disrespectful" behavior towards the elderly, Julia Montes maintains she does not recall any instance that may have led to such rumors to surface.

"Parang wala naman yata po. Kasi ako talaga, [marespeto] ako sa mga matatanda, especially may lola nga ako," Montes said, referring to her grandmother, who raised her along with her hearing-impaired mom.
One of the lead stars of ABS-CBN's top-rating series "Walang Hanggan," Montes said her being tired from filming may have given off an unfavorable impression on some members of the staff.
"Siguro na-misunderstood lang na hinihila kami ng staff or ano, tapos talagang ngarag. Siguro ganun, tapos nabigyan ng meaning. [Pero] walang katotohanan, dahil ako, marespeto ako sa mga matatanda," Montes told reporters Wednesday night at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Along with other artists of Star Magic, Montes is in the United States for a series of shows celebrating the 20th anniversary of ABS-CBN's talent management outfit.
Now on its last episode, "Walang Hanggan" is set to air its finale on Friday during ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida block.
