MANILA, Philippines -- With Christmas fast approaching, comedian Vice Ganda is hoping that the country's top three networks would come up with a common Christmas station ID featuring their various stars.

'Yun ang totoong Christmas spirit," he said on his official Twitter account on Tuesday.

ABS-CBN ushered in the holiday season when it launched its much-awaited Christmas station ID, which featured Vice Ganda and the other Kapamilya stars.

The comedian lambasted the so-called "network wars," which he said only divides not only the networks but their talents.

"Sino ba kasi nagpauso nyang network war?! Such a stupid idea!

Ganda said in a series of tweets.

Ganda also said one of his dreams is to interview veteran host-comedian Joey de Leon in his show "Gandang Gabi Vice." However, this is unlikely because of the cutthroat competition among the country's top networks.
