MANILA - Sarah Geronimo gets romantic in the music video of her latest single “Your Christmas Girl” from the album of the same title.

In the storyline, Geronimo meets her true love at the stroke of midnight. In real life though, the young singer-actress claimed that love can wait. She said she would rather focus first on her work.

When interviewed her during the shoot of her music video last Saturday, the pop princess said: “Thankful ako sa mga composers dahil kinontribute nila ‘yong compositions nila para sa album tulad ng ‘Your Christmas Girl.’”

“Meron ding mga classics like ‘Give Love on Christmas Day’ and ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.’

Adding to her excitement is her upcoming November 7 concert at the Araneta Coliseum dubbed “Record Breaker.”

Abangan din nila yung mga surprise guests namin dito,” she said.

When asked if she is pressured about drawing a bigger crowd after the phenomenal success of “The Next One” concert, she replied: “Ako kasi hindi importante sa akin kung mag-sold out o hindi. Basta ang goal ko is ‘yong ma-satisfy ‘yong audience, kesyo isang daan pa yan or less than 50 na tao pa.

But of all her accomplishments this year, she revealed that she considers her blockbuster movies with John Lloyd Cruz the most unforgettable ones.

A Very Special Love’ at ‘You Changed My Life,’” she stated.

Aside from “Your Christmas Girl” album, which is now out in the market, the pop princess is also set to release another album in November. -Rachelle Siazon,
