MANILA, Philippines – "Showtime" host and actor Vhong Navarro is single again after the Court of Appeals affirmed the court decision annulling his marriage to former actress Bianca Lapuz.
In an interview with the entertainment show "E-Live" on Saturday, Navarro revealed he is very happy now that the ordeal is over.
The "Showtime" host, however, maintained that he and Lapuz remain good friends.
“Wala kaming problema. Sobrang close kami ni Bianca. Mas naging maganda nga ang friendship namin after matapos 'yung annulment,” Navarro shared.
He added that they have long forgotten the pain because it happened a long time ago. They are in fact working hand in hand now in raising their son, Isaiah.
“Kasi naman 'yung nangyari naman na 'yun matagal na 'yun. Hindi namin pinagkalat. Hindi na namin pinagsabi kasi para naman sa freedom naming dalawa. Para naman maging OK din siya sa love life niya, ako rin. Free na nga kami at the same time. Hindi namin papabayaan ang obligasyon namin sa mahal naming anak,” Navarro said.
The actor is now dating a non-showbiz girl.
Navarro and Lapuz got married in 1998. It was in 2005 when Navarro filed an annulment case on the grounds of psychological incapacity on the part of the former actress.
