MANILA, Philippines – The comedy movie "This Guy's In Love With U Mare" has already breached the P100-million mark, just days after it was released in theaters nationwide on Wednesday.
This was confirmed on Sunday by actress Toni Gonzaga on “The Buzz” where she is a host.

Gonzaga said she, co-stars Vice Ganda and Luis Manzano and director Wenn Deramas are truly grateful to all the people who lined up to see the latest Star Cinema offering.
“Maraming salamat po sa mga sumugod at pumila sa mga sinehan. Sa lahat po ng pumila at nag-aksaya ng kanilang pera para sa pelikulang ito, mula po sa aming puso maraming maraming salamat,” she said.
Gonzaga said she is also thankful that various malls in the country are opening more theaters to screen the movie.
“Gusto rin namin magpasalamat sa SM Cinemas dahil as of today, four cinemas po ang bubuksan nila para sa ‘This Guy’s In Love With U Mare.’ Sa Gateway, apat na sinehan; sa Trinoma, nagbukas din sila ng another theater,” she said.
Star Cinema earlier reported that "This Guy's In Love With U Mare" earned an estimated P23 million during its first day of showing on October 12.
The comedy flick tells the story of a heart-broken gay man, Marce (Vice Ganda), who tries to come between his former lover (Manzano) and his fiancee (Gonzaga). To do this, Marce pretends to be a straight man who tries to win the heart of Gonzaga's character.
"This Guy's in Love with U Mare" is Deramas's follow-up to the all-time highest-grossing local film "The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin," which also starred Vice Ganda.
