Billy Crawford to stage comeback in France
MANILA, Philippines - Television host Billy Crawford is set to go back to France early next year to restart his international career.
In an interview with Kris Aquino for ABS-CBN's morning show "KrisTV," Crawford said that he will be doing shows in France, where he had a successful career as a teenage pop singer.
"Well, I'm leaving for Europe on January, end of January. It's still tentative for now pero most likely end of January cause I will start rehearsing February for one month. We will have 2 concerts one in Paris and one in Reunion Island," Crawford said.
The Filipino-American singer said that he might be away from the Philippines for as long as 4 months. But he is negotiating to keep it shorter since he doesn't want to be away from his real life sweetheart Nikki Gil for long.
"Normally kasi it's 4 months pero I'm still trying to negotiate because I think I can't handle being away from Nikki for 4 months, dire-direcho. Honestly 4 months is very long," Crawford said.
Crawford stayed in France for 6 years before he went back to Manila to work with ABS-CBN.
Crawford became known around Europe and Asia with hit songs such as "Trackin," "When You Think About Me", "Never My Love", "Steamy Nights" and "Bright Lights".
