Larry Martin was named the first Pinoy "Biggest Loser."

MANILA, Philippines – Larry Martin, the very first Pinoy “Biggest Loser,” is open to the possibility of venturing into show business.

“Kung may tatanggap sa akin, bakit naman po hindi,” he said in an interview on “The Buzz.”

Martin used to be a policeman, but decided to leave the service when he gained weight.

He then entered the Biggest Loser camp weighing 255 pounds.

After spending 125 days inside the camp, Martin lost 101 pounds and now weighs 154 pounds.

After winning the competition, Martin, however, revealed he still wants to go back to being a policeman.

“Kung sa pagbalik ko pinaplano ko po talaga yan. Wino-work out ko na po iyan sa Crame,” he said.

Martin also has a message for his fellow policemen who are having weight problems.

“Kayang kaya po [nila iyan] talaga kapag nagpursige at nagsikap. Determinasyon lang po talaga. Kaya naman po nilang kontrolin iyon, disiplina lang talaga,” he said.

Meanwhile, Martin expressed gratitude to all the people from the “The Biggest Loser.”

“Lubos ko po talagang pinasasalamatan sina direk Lauren Dyogi, BLP staff, Ms. Sharon Cuneta, Derek Ramsay, coaches Jim and Chingay, Ms. Nadine at iba pang contestants,” he said.
