"Smaller and Smaller Circles," the film based on the crime novel by FH Batacan, is not only making its premiere at the 22nd Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.
It is also among the 10 nominees for the Kim Ji-seok Award.
Created in honor of the BIFF's late co-founder, the eponymous recognition aims "to discover and encourage Asian films," according to festival organizers. The BIFF runs from October 12 to 21.
Meanwhile, director Raya Martin and producer Ria Limjap open up about what makes them nervous and excited about the film's upcoming international premiere.
