MANILA, Philippines - Comedian Vice Ganda admitted that he has mixed feelings about the idea of working with Ai-Ai delas Alas, who is dubbed as the country's "Comedy Queen."
The new teamup might happen after Vice Ganda's friend, actress-host Kris Aquino, backed out from doing the Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Sisteraka" due to health concerns.
While he said he is excited about the idea, the comedian said he is also afraid of offending delas Alas.
"If ever, excited naman ako. Kapag nalaman mo ngang Ai-Ai and Vice 'di ba parang exciting na," he said.
It can be recalled that Vice Ganda admitted a rift between him and delas Alas last January.
They reconciled four months later.
Vice Ganda wants to get close
Meanwhile, Vice Ganda hopes that he and delas Alas will end up as close friends.
But he said that there is no need to rush things. "Ang saya noon. Panahon siguro, huwag madaliin.
Asked how they are doing right now, the comedian said: "Sobrang OK kami. Masaya kaming nagchichikahan, naghaharot din."
