MANILA, Philippines -- "American Idol" runner-up and "proud Filipina" Jessica Sanchez is reportedly in negotiations to stage her first solo concert in the Philippines next year.
Following her recent concert with fellow "Idol" finalists in Manila, the 17-year-old singer is in talks for a possible solo gig in the Philippines as early as February next year, the Philippine Daily Inquirer has reported.
The report came after Sanchez's one week-stay in Manila, where she promoted endorsement deals with home-grown brands Jollibee and clothing line Bench.
Popular for her rendition of the hits "I Will Always Love You" and "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" during her stint on the 11th season of "Idol," Sanchez's potential solo concert won't be short of original tracks from the half-Mexican singer.
Having signed with Interscope Records after her "Idol" finish, Sanchez is currently working on her debut album, which is also expected to feature the original track "Fairytale."
Sanchez's debut album is set to be released in November.
