MANILA, Philippines -- Aspiring singer Kedebon Colim finally defended himself from all his haters and bashers on social media who rejoiced when he was voted out from "The X Factor Philippines" last Sunday.

In an interview with ABS-CBNnews.com on Tuesday, Colim, considered one of the more controversial contestants in the show, vowed not to lose faith even after his journey on the talent search has ended.

"Ganoon talaga.

I accept them as a challenge kung paano ko aabutin ang pangarap ko.

While Colim has already accepted his fate, he said he will really miss the show, especially his fellow contestants.

"Sobrang OK kasi being part of the show.

He also vowed not to stop dreaming for a better life for his family.

"Hindi po namatay ang pangarap ko kasi I know God has a plan for me. I will live my life for him," he said.

Sa lahat ng ginagawa nila, na-shocked sila sa resulta pero  kahit hindi ako umabot I'm so blessed na nakilala ko 'yung mga ganitong tao," said Colim, who still hopes to be part of show business.

Asked if he would like to try his luck as a comedian, he said: "Pangarap ko talaga matulungan ang pamilya ko sa kahirapan in a special way. Kung bibigyan ako ng career I will be there to have it.

Now that the show is down to its last three weeks, Colim said he's rooting for KZ Tandingan to win.

Ang mananalo si KZ," he said.
