MANILA, Philippines -- Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo on Sunday night performed her latest single "Tao," a revival of the Sampaguita hit, which is part of her newest album "Pure OPM Classics" under Viva Records.
According to Geronimo, her album is her early Christmas gifts to her fans.
"Yan po ang mga kantang minahal natin through the years na nilagyan ko po ng bagong flavor. Sana po ay magustuhan niyo, isang maagang Pamasko na din po 'yan para sa inyo," Geronimo said.
Included in the CD are Pinoy classics like Florante's "Handog," Tillie Moreno and Ray-an Fuentes' "Umagang Kay Ganda," Apo Hiking Society's "Panalangin," Nonoy Zuniga's "Doon Lang," Joey Albert's "Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin," Asin's "Masdan Mo Ang Kapaligiran," Rey Valera's "Malayo Pa Ang Umaga," Kuh Ledesma's "Sana," Basil Valdez's "Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan," Hajji Alejandro's "Kay Ganda Ng Ating Musika" and Freddie Aguilar's "Anak."
