MANILA, Philippines - Actor Richard Gomez extended his apologies to all the Filipinos who patiently waited for him in Santa Clara, California for the The Filipino Channel's "One Kapamilya Go" event last Sunday, September 16.
In a statement, Gomez said he failed to be part of the event, which featured the cast of the top-rating soap "Walang Hanggan," because he needed to run some personal errands.
Gomez also thanked his fans for supporting "Walang Hanggan," which is down to its last 30 episodes.
Salamat po ulit," he said.
"Walang Hanggan" stars Coco Martin, Julia Montes, Paulo Avelino, Joem Bascon, Melissa Ricks and Dawn Zulueta attended the "One Kapamilya Go" event, as well as "Pinoy Big Brother" winner Slater Young, singer Jed Madela and comedienne Pokwang.
Auditions for upcoming singing contest "The Voice Philippines" were also held in Great America.
