The “Be Careful With My Heart” actress, however, refused to share further details about her growing closeness with Revilla.

“I would say na he is someone special right now. Hanggang doon na lang po muna,” she told Boy Abunda in a live interview on “The Buzz.”

According to rumors, Sta. Maria failed to attend the 6th Star Magic Ball because she and Revilla, along with their respective kids, went to Hong Kong Disneyland last month.

Reports also said the two have been going steady for almost a year.

Last week, Sta. Maria Sta. Maria declined to answer questions from media about Revilla although she announced that she is now ready to fall in love again.

"I am happy. Basta ang masasabi ko lang, I never lost faith in love," she said.

Sta. Maria said her main inspiration is still her son Thirdy with ex-husband Pampi Lacson.

In her interview with Abunda, Sta. Maria stressed that she has been honest about everything to her son.

“Ang kuwentuhan namin ay eskwela kasi nasa big school na siya. Basta ang masasabi ko lang po, honest po ako sa anak ko,” she said.

Meanwhile, the actress said she could not ask for more following the unparalleled success of her daytime series "Be Careful With My Heart."

“Wala na akong mahihiling pa. Sobra-sobra na kung sasabihin kong kulang pa ito or may hihilingin pa ako,” she said.

While she admitted that she once thought that she’ll be relegated to supporting roles forever, Sta. Maria said she is grateful to God that everything fell into the right place.

“Walang [pain or bitterness] kasi hindi naman magkakaroon ng pain kung tanggap mo naman eh... Hindi naman talaga siya ipinilit. Mabait ang Diyos. Hindi po ba sinasabi nila na a fruit tastes better and sweeter when it’s ripened right. Good things come to those who wait talaga,” she said.
