MANILA – Tension gripped the set of “Tayong Dalawa” when actor Coco Martin, one of the cast of the hit television series, was hurt while shooting an action scene.
Martin, who plays the young thug, Ramon, was shooting a “firing” scene when the accident occurred.
A behind-the-scene footage showed Martin shooting at his enemies. A blank round had been fired back but the smoke powder inadvertently hit his eyes. The footage showed the actor dropping to the floor as he writhed in pain.
One of the crew could be heard asking for water apparently to douse his eyes with it.
The crew rushed Martin to the University of Santo Tomas Hospital where he underwent a series of medical tests. He was later discharged from the hospital.
Martin, who was advised to take a rest by his doctor, cancelled his taping for a “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode. He also missed the shooting for the final action scenes of “Tayong Dalawa.”

grabe ang pag hanga namin kay coco martin slash ramon ng tayong dalawa.he has this aura that makes all of us here in dubai admire him..grabe ang acting nya sa tayong dlawa...pati asawa ko naiyak sa scene nung nmatay si lola gets..i am naming our baby after u coco!!!! ikaw ang pinka magaling sa knilang kahat sa set nyo..walang tatalo sa pag arte mo dhil coco..keep up the good work..lahat kmi d2 sa dubai ay bilib sayo n we love u...sana ma visit mo kmi dito..stay gwapo..at sana marami kapang projects...dahil kmi d2 mga nagmamahal syo susuporta sayo!!
