MANILA, Philippines - Even if she only did a cameo, Malaysian actress Carmen Soo is proud of the independent film "Alagwa," which saw her reunited with Kapamilya star Jericho Rosales.

On Twitter, Soo said she is proud of that the film was chosen to be part of the 17th Busan International Film Festival, which will run from October 4 to 13 in Busan, South Korea.

"On another note, I only have a cameo, but am really proud of #ALAGWA being selected at Busan !! Congrats!!" she wrote.

"Alagwa" or "Breakaway" is an indie film produced by Rosales. Stars Leo Martinez, Smokey Manaloto and Bugoy Cariño are also part of the movie.

Soo first worked with Rosales in the defunct ABS-CBN hit series "Kahit Isang Saglit" in 2008.

The Malaysian actress, who also wishes to do a new soap in the Philippines, is busy shooting her movie "Ghost Child" in Singapore.
