John Lloyd, Bea to visit France for int'l screening
MANILA, Philippines – Long-time supporters of John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo flocked to the premiere screening of their onscreen tandem's 10th anniversary film offering, "The Mistress."

their 10th anniversary as a tandem with the Olivia Lamasan-directed film, and later, a new
primetime series titled "A Beautiful Affair."
The Olivia Lamasan film successfully held its premiere screening at the SM Megamall in Ortigas on Tuesday night. Released under Star Cinema, the romantic film marks the 10 years of Cruz and Alonzo's "love team" on TV and film.
A raving crowd welcomed the Kapamilya stars, who walked the red carpet after a number of celebrities, including comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas and "Pinoy Big Brother" winner Slater Young, made their entrance.
Addressing the crowd who trooped to the cinema lobby of SM Megamall, Cruz said: "Kagaya niyo rin lang po kami, naghihintay na mapanood 'yung pelikula."
"Ako excited na 'ko, gustung-gusto ko na makita 'yung kabuuan ng pelikula. Kagaya niyo, ganoon din kami, first time namin makikita," he added.
"Gusto kong magpasalamat sa mga nagpunta ngayong gabi," Alonzo said. "Maraming, maraming salamat po. Napaka-importante po ng gabing ito para sa amin. I can't wait to see the movie as well. Sana magustuhan ninyong lahat."
Also starring Ronaldo Valdez and Hilda Koronel, "The Mistress" tells the story of a worldly, adventurous man's (Cruz) doomed relationship with a woman (Alonzo) who is already committed to an older partner (Valdez).
After the film's premiere night, Alonzo will fly to France for its first international screening at the Acropolis in Nice on September 15, where Cruz will also be in attendance.
Other international screenings for "The Mistress" will be held in: Auckland, New Zealand; Hawaii; Las Vegas; Seattle; New Jersey; Milpitas, California; San Bruno, California; San Jose, California; Los Angeles, California; Dubai; Abu Dhabi; Qatar; and Bahrain.
