MANILA, Philippines – Newly signed Kapamilya actress Diana Zubiri recalled the pain of losing a husband at relatively young age.

In her first interview with “The Buzz” as an ABS-CBN star, Zubiri said her world really shattered when her husband told her that he had liver cirrhosis.

Actress Diana Zubiri during her first "The Buzz" guesting as a Kapamilya.

Zubiri said it was only then that she felt deep pain, which she first thought only happens in movies or television.

Zubiri also admitted that there was a time when she asked God why it had to happen to her.

The actress, however, shared that she managed to stand up after what happened by holding on to their happy memories.

Zubiri got married in 2008. She lost her husband two years later.
