MANILA – The camp of actress Janelle Manahan will appeal the decision of the Parañaque Prosecutor's Office junking the murder and frustrated murder charges against Gail Bautista and Hiro Furoyama.
This is in connection with the killing of actor Ramgen Revilla last October 28, 2011 in BF Homes, Parañaque.
The Parañaque Prosecutor's Office, in its 6-page resolution, dismissed the charges due to lack of evidence.
Bautista is Revilla’s sister, who is married to Furoyama.
They were earlier linked to the crime by suspect Glaiza Visda, who claimed it was Bautista who ordered a certain Ryan Pastera to kill Revilla.
Manahan’s lawyer RG Guevarra said they have yet to receive a copy of the resolution junking the charges, but they are already preparing the appeal which they intend to file before the Department of Justice.
Manahan’s camp believes they have strong evidence against Bautista and Furoyama because the actress’ statements were supported by two other accused -- Francis Tolesora and Michael Narcia. –report from dzMM
